Ceilings are approximately 6′7″, with a few lower spots. Natural light is more limited than in an upstairs apartment.

A home with life upstairs

The suite is part of our home, so you may hear everyday sounds from above. Please message us first if you need a particularly quiet setting or plan to work remotely.

Your entrance is around the back

Arrival is through the rear alley, with off-street parking and access to the suite. There is a step at the entrance; garden access involves stairs.

Is the suite completely private?

Yes. You have your own bedroom, living area, kitchenette, bathroom, and entrance. The suite is the lower level of our home; none of the suite’s rooms are shared with other guests.

What’s included in the kitchenette?

The suite has its own kitchenette with an electric cooktop and air fryer for preparing everyday meals.

How does parking work?

One free off-street parking space is available via the rear alley. We send the specific arrival and parking directions before your stay. Please use those directions rather than approaching the front of the house.

Can we check in early or leave a little later?

Please ask in your Airbnb conversation. We’ll let you know what’s possible based on cleaning and the surrounding reservations. Early check-in and late checkout need to be arranged in advance.

Can I stay for a few weeks or work remotely?

Longer stays may be possible depending on the calendar. Please discuss your dates and needs with us before booking, especially if you plan to work remotely. For extended stays, cleaning is arranged every 30 days.

What should I know about access and house policies?

This garden-level suite has a step at the door, with stairs on the garden route. It accommodates up to two guests. Smoking, parties, and pets are not permitted. Photo ID verification is required; we coordinate the details before arrival. Please review the full house rules and exterior camera disclosures on Airbnb.
